Yes. You decide whether to renew. Cancel through your online account or customer support before your next billing date, and keep using your plan until your paid period ends. Heading home? Ryoko can come with you—keep your plan for everyday outings, backup internet at home, and your next adventure.
You don’t need campground WiFi—just coverage from a supported mobile network. Ryoko connects to available partner networks to give you your own WiFi at camp, including remote spots with coverage. No hunting for the campground’s WiFi password or staying near reception. A supported mobile signal is required.
Your phone shouldn’t have to keep the whole campsite connected. Ryoko has its own battery and data plan, sharing WiFi with up to 10 devices without using your phone’s hotspot allowance. Leave Ryoko with your family at camp and take your phone with you—their connection stays with them.
You don’t need to be. Turn Ryoko on, wait for it to connect to a mobile network, then scan the QR code on its screen—or enter the displayed WiFi password. It’s the same straightforward routine whether you’re settling into a campsite, visiting family, or heading off on your next trip.
Yes—connect up to 10 devices, including phones, tablets, and laptops. One Ryoko can keep the family connected, so you don’t need a separate hotspot for everyone. All devices share the available speed, so simultaneous streaming and large downloads can slow things down.
No. With up to 8 hours of battery life, depending on usage, Ryoko can come along without keeping you tied to an outlet. Charge it with the included USB-C cable before heading out, and make it part of your packing routine alongside your phone and travel essentials.
Yes, when the local connection is strong enough—whether it’s a rainy-evening movie or showing family the view from your campsite. Streaming and video calls use more data than browsing, so choose a plan that fits how you’ll actually use Ryoko. Performance depends on coverage, available speed, and connected devices.
If rain or splashes are part of your plans, consider adding protection before your first trip. After purchasing Ryoko, you’ll have the option to buy a waterproof case separately—a useful addition for camping and time near the water. Keep the device itself dry when unprotected.

Works great anywhere. Can get a bit slower in rural remote areas with less cell tower service but internet never went out.
Steven D.
Device works in a very rural area where only one or two mobile carriers are available. The other internet option would be satellite, which is almost $100 per month. Streamed with ease, able to surf the web, and use social media without issues.
Lucille P.
It actually works! So many gadgets on the market that don't deliver. But when I'm able to connect (travelling in some remote areas), the connection is great! And WAY better than many of the RV parks offer.
Patrick C.
A product that works. I had a need when caravanning and off-roading in areas with no signal.
Mark R.
Internet access that is very affordable and portable. However, I live in a very rural area where there used to be only one cell provider. Recently, a new tower was installed 1 mile from my house, and it is great when I can connect to it for Internet access.
Gill C.
Provides Internet access in remote places. Exactly what we needed for our trips away from civilization.
